Different microenvironment stimuli results in distinct patterns of macrophages polarization comparing elastase- and cigarette smoke - induced models of emphysema
Conclusion: Whereas the CS-induced model showed M1 and M2 phenotypes, the elastase-induced model showed a polarization for M1 and a downregulation for M2 phenotype.
