Modulation of pro-inflammatory and anti-viral responses in BEAS2B cells by glucocorticoid agonists
In conclusion, we showed the expected inhibitory effect of FP on pro-inflammatory cytokines and in addition a suppression of the cellular anti-viral response and an enhanced viral replication. These studies may have implications for the use of ICS during virally induced exacerbations.
