Urinal expression profile of miRNAs after smoking cessation in healthy subjects: a pilot study

Conclusion: We show that miRNAs can be detected in urine and that that it may be affected by smoking. Variability among subjects in our pilot study may mask effect of cigarette cessation. Expanded study group is needed to obtain more information on smoking effect on urinal miRNA expression. Grant support IGA PU LF 2017_014 and LO1304
