Benign metastazing leiomyomas to the lungs
Conclusion: Benign metastasizing leiomyoma is a rare cause of pulmonary nodules. The diagnosis is based on the medical history of uterine myomas and histopathologic and immunohistochemical examination of lung nodules. Management includes pathologic diagnosis and long-term surveillance with or without hormonal manipulation.
