Impact of gender and hormonal status on the prevalence and comorbidities of sleep-disordered breathing
Conclusion: The prevalence of SDB in this population-based cohort was high, particularly in men and post-M women. SDB was associated with hypertension and depression exclusively in women, with diabetes in men only, and with metabolic syndrome in both genders.
