Late Breaking Abstract - Associations between lung function and incident cardiac events over 350,000 person-years: the NHLBI Pooled Cohorts Study
Conclusions: Airflow limitation was not independently associated with incident MACE in the general population; modest and inconsistent associations were observed in smokers only. Previously reported associations may reflect selection bias or smoking effects.
