Genetic relationship between obstructive sleep apnea and lumbar disc degeneration: results from a twin study

Conclusions: The presence and severity of obstructive sleep apnea is related to the number of discus protrusions which seems to be at least partially genetically determined. Further research is needed.Support: Hungarian Pulmonology Foundation.
