We describe the clinicopathologic features of 17 patients who had a hematologic malignancy of various types, were treated, and subsequently developed a lymphoproliferative disorder (LPD). There were 10 men and 7 women with a median age of 59 years (range, 36 to 83 y). I had blood tests (and the Bence Jones 24-hour urine test) last week. This afternoon I got my results. Here goes, in a nutshell: My M-spike has gone down (it has actually been going down a wee bit for the past two tests, so this is the third “wee bit down”). Total IgG is also down (for the second time, when compared to my last few tests). My hemoglobin is in the normal range, even though my red blood cells are slightly low, but just slightly. Conclusion The recommended dose of NK012 monotherapy for RRMM patients was concluded to be 20 mg/m2. However, this phase I/II study was terminated at the end of the phase I stage because no patients showed an objective response.
