Authors: Xu H, Dong L, Bin Z, Yansong H, Shaofeng L, Chang L, Chen C, Changli W Abstract Despite the excellent efficacy and low toxicity of photoresponse therapy, which has attracted considerable attention for use in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) therapy, unsatisfactory cellular permeability, and instability, both in vitro and in vivo have limited further clinical applications of indole cyanine photosensitizers. Here, we explore the supramolecular self-assembly of a 'hyalurosome' that is mediated by calcium phosphate nanonuclei. Through hyaluronate-mediated CD44 targeting, the constructed hyalurosome...

ConclusionsORR and PFS were significantly better in ILD patients than in irAEs ‐non‐ILD and non‐irAEs patients. Pre‐existing history of IP was an independent risk factor for ILD‐induced ICIs.

Authors: Hakozaki T, Kitazono M, Takamori M, Kiriu T Abstract Histologic transformation has been described as an acquired mechanism of resistance to epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). We herein report the case of a woman with stage IV lung adenocarcinoma harboring EGFR exon 19 deletions who was initially treated with EGFR-TKIs; several cytotoxic chemotherapeutic regimens were used when resistance developed. A lymph node re-biopsy revealed histologic transformation of the tumor to combined small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) with retained EGFR exon ...

CONCLUSION: These data collectively suggest that the expression of hsa-let-7g inhibits lung cancer cells apoptosis and promotes proliferation by down-regulating HOXB1. The results from this study demonstrate the potential of hsa-let-7g/HOXB1 axis as a therapeutic target for the treatment of lung cancer. PMID: 32102121 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
