Factors influencing prognosis and functional outcome one year after a first-time stroke in a Caribbean Population

To evaluate functional outcome and quality of life one year post stroke in a Caribbean population. Caribbean stroke patients are younger than those in North American/European countries. Therefore, their functional outcome cannot be predicted on the basis of studies on other populations.
