Implementation of Crew Resource Management: A Qualitative Study in 3 Intensive Care Units

Conclusions: This study shows that CRM requires preparation and implementation, both of which require time and dedication. It is promising to note that all 3 ICUs have developed multiple quality improvement initiatives and aim to continue doing so.

CONCLUSIONS: Using data representing over 99% of U.S. population, we found that incidence rates of distant-stage prostate cancer significantly increased during 2010-2014 among men in certain ages, in white, and with non-Hispanic ethnicity. PMID: 29678312 [PubMed - in process]

CONCLUSION: CRC incidence increased with neighborhood disadvantage and racial disparities diminished with mounting disadvantage. Our results suggest additional dimensions to racial disparities in CRC outside of neighborhood disadvantage that warrants further research. PMID: 29678311 [PubMed - in process]

Conclusion: Our results suggest that the concentration of serum calcium is higher in patients with more severe artery stenosis lesions and that the phosphatidylinositol signaling system is a key biological pathway involved in this process.Cell Physiol Biochem 2018;46:1189 –1197

Conclusion: Rat hepatocytes with their intermediate rate of oxygen consumption also possess an intermediate CO2 permeability. From pairs of data for five types of cells/organelles, we find an excellent positive linear correlation between PCO2 and metabolic rate, suggesting an adaptation of PCO2 to the rate of O2 consumption.Cell Physiol Biochem 2018;46:1198 –1208
