Sutter destroyed boxes of crucial evidence in antitrust suit, judge says

Health care giant Sutter Health intentionally destroyed nearly 200 boxes of crucial evidence sought by lawyers in an antitrust lawsuit, a San Francisco County Superior Court judge ruled. Judge Curtis E.A. Karnow said in the ruling that Sutter intentionally destroyed 192 boxes of evidence that unions and employers had sought as part of a lawsuit alleging that the health care company had inflated prices or exploited its market power.
