New sesquiterpenoids from Petasites japonicus and Petasites tricholobus

Their structures were elucidated by NMR and HRESIMS analyses. Petasindiol (6) represented the first example of 15-noreremophilane sesquiterpenoid from the genus Petasites. Graphical abstract
