UAB nurse earns grant to examine pediatric care for infants in the Deep South
An assistant professor in UAB's nursing school has received a grant to make a difference in the health care of children in the Deep South.
Erin Currie has received a two-year, $154,000 grant from the National Palliative Care Research Center. It's a career development award to examine the pediatric palliative care needs of infants and neonatal intensive care units and their parents in the Deep South.
