Higher prevalence of unrecognized kidney disease at high altitude.
CONCLUSIONS: Dwellers at high altitude who are considered healthy have worse kidney function, a higher prevalence of proteinuria and a lower prevalence of metabolic syndrome compared to people living at SL.
