010-Sub-Q T: Is It for Me? Reviewing the Increasing Use of Subcutaneous Testosterone Injections

Background: Through collaboration within the Canadian Pediatric Endocrine Nurses (CPEN) network it has become evident that there are differences in practices in the use of injectable testosterone for hypogonadal and transgender males. Some clinics in Canada offer Testosterone injections subcutaneously following a pilot study conducted at McGill University Health Center in 2006 reporting its safe use and efficacy.
