Abstract In our search for novel small molecules activating procaspase-3, we have designed and synthesized a series of novel acetohydrazides incorporating both 2-oxoindoline and 4-oxoquinazoline scaffolds (5a-t). ConclusionNHL survivors have high compliance with USPSTF recommendations for cancer screening and immunization. Survivors who are younger or have aggressive lymphomas are less likely to meet the colorectal cancer screening guidelines. In this study, we determined the anticancer effect of a newly found natural compound, sakurasosaponin (S-saponin), using androgen-dependent and castration-resistant PCa cell lines. S-saponin induces mitochondrial-mediated cell death in both androgen-dependent (LNCaP) and castration-resistant (22Rv1 and C4-2) PCa cells, via AR expression. CONCLUSIONS: In all the instances, statistical analysis showed that mean mSWAT score before/after SN diagnosis had a significantly difference (p value=0.0037) suggesting that patients with a SN may have a worse clinical outcome. By secreting immunosuppressive cytokines or recruiting immunosuppressive cells, a sort of mutual help between the two neoplasms may be prompted.
