Health care tops state's highest-paying occupations
Health care jobs remain the highest-paying occupations in Kansas.
Statewide, anesthesiologists are paid an average of $138.18 an hour, according to a new report from the Kansas Department of Labor. That’s higher than the national average of $129.62 an hour.
Nine of the 10 highest-paid occupations in Kansas are related to the health care industry, the stud y shows.
The same is true for occupations in the Wichita area, according to data compiled for a Wichita Business Journal list in April.
