Exploring mega-diverse biotas with DNA Barcodes at the 7th iBOL Conference

(University of Johannesburg) DNA barcoding and related techniques are increasingly used in wildlife crime and authentication of commercial products, such as herbal products and seafood. Hosted for the first time on the African continent, the 7th International Barcode of Life Conference takes place on November 20 - 24, 2017 within the Kruger National Park, South Africa. Presenters will highlight the dramatic rise of studies on environmental DNA and diverse uses of high-throughput gene sequencing techniques.
