Philips adds 10 healthcare providers to Wellcentive population health management

Royal Philips (NYSE:PHG) said today it added 10 new additions to its Wellcentive population health management system, including Denver-based HealthOne. Other additions to the program include Michigan’s Affinia Health Network, Arizona’s Banner Health, Colorado’s Boulder Valley Care Network, Massachusett’s Lahey Health, Michigan’s MedNet One Health Solutions and Wexford Physician Hospital Organization, California’s Sharp HealthCare, Florida’s Specialized On-Site Care Management and Germany’s Rostock University Medical Center. Philips Wellcentive platform, which it purchased last July, provides a cloud-based informatics platform that aggregates and analyzes clinical claims and financial data with the goal of improving quality and revenue growth, the company said. “For the future success of HealthOne, we recognized the need for a comprehensive solution to enable more effective care management Philips has significant experience in supporting organizations as they transition to value-based care and managing risk-based contracts. As we work to drive a healthier bottom line, Philips Wellcentive supports our growth strategy and helps us identify gaps in our care delivery and improve the use of our data,” HealthOne chief information officer Andy Draper said in a press release.
