Expression patterns of ion channels and structural proteins in a multimodal cell type of the avian optic tectum

In this study, we analyzed the distribution of different structural proteins and ion channels to get detailed neuroanatomical information on a multimodal cell type in the avian midbrain. This information provides new insights into the integration of multimodal information and information flow.
