Serum ferritin is a different predictor from transfusion history for allogeneic transplantation outcome in patients with severe aplastic anemia.
CONCLUSIONS: Transfusion history was a stronger predictor of outcome than SF in patients undergoing transplantation more than 2 months after diagnosis.
