Medical Malpractice in Lower Gastrointestinal Endoscopy: A Review of Case Law
Lower gastrointestinal endoscopy (LGE) is a key diagnostic and therapeutic modality for wide range of colorectal diseases. LGE procedures are a target of medical malpractice litigation. The study aimed to determine which LGE complications comprise the majority of allegations in malpractice lawsuits targeting LGE procedures.
