People with and without mental health conditions receive preventive care at similar rates

(Kaiser Permanente) People with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder received preventive health screenings at rates similar to or higher than people without mental illnesses, according to a study of more than 800,000 patients published today in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.
