An appropriate mean arterial pressure (MAP) does not always mean hemodynamic stability in septic shock patients

We read the article by Adams and colleagues [1] in an issue of Journal of Critical Care with great interest. The authors should be commended as they unveiled an interesting clinical phenomenon that obese septic shock (SS) patient seemed to receive less aggressive, lower weight-based vasopressor and fluid doses than their nonobese counterparts. Although this chart review study sounds scientific and convictive, we still have some questions on this research.
