Research to explore the development of deadly brain tumors
(University of Plymouth) A team led by Dr Claudia Barros from the Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry has secured £ 163,066 funding from the Brain Research Trust to explore the formation and development of cancer stem cells in glioblastoma -- the most common of malign brain tumours in adults and for which there is no cure.
