Comments on preoperative severe hypoalbuminemia is associated with an increased risk of postoperative delirium in elderly patients: Results of a secondary analysis

We have read the study conducted by Zhang and colleagues [1] that was published in journal of critical care, enthusiastically and meticulously. The authors tried to evaluate the association between the severity of preoperative hypoalbuminemia and the occurrence of postoperative delirium after adjusting for confounders [1].
