Judge dismisses fraud lawsuit against UnitedHealth

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit accusing UnitedHealth Group Inc. of overstating how sick patients were to get more money from Medicare. The False Claims Act lawsuit was filed by whistleblower James Swoben and was joined earlier this year by the U.S. Department of Justice.
