91 Trans-coronary pacing to assess myocardial viability prior to percutaneous coronary intervention

Background: The assessment of myocardial viability is crucial before percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is carried out to ensure that the patient will gain benefit from the procedure. There are a range of imaging investigations which can used to assess myocardial viability but these are often time- and resource-intensive tests which can delay revascularisation. Trans-coronary pacing (TCP) is a technique which can be performed at the time of intervention and has previously been used to pace myocardium.  However, it may also provide information on myocardial viability.
