Use of venoactive drugs after surgery for varicose veins: a preliminary study.

CONCLUSIONS: Irrespectively of the groups, about one third of the patients didn't take the recommended VAD postoperatively. No significant difference was recorded between those who took the therapy and those who didn't in terms of intensity of postoperative pain, length of rest from daily activities and QoL.
