Acute Severe Mitral Stenosis Immediately After Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation.

Acute Severe Mitral Stenosis Immediately After Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation. J Invasive Cardiol. 2017 Oct;29(10):E154 Authors: Auer J, Grund M, Puschmann R, Berent R Abstract An 86-year-old female patient was referred for treatment of symptomatic severe aortic stenosis. The heart team decided to perform transfemoral transcatheter aortic valve implantation. A 25 mm transcatheter aortic valve was implanted, but the valve migrated low into the left ventricular outflow tract. The subsequent removal and replacement procedures are described.
