Society of Interventional Radiology Resident-In-Training Travel Scholarship

Society of Interventional Radiology Resident-In-Training Travel Scholarship Deadline: October 1, 2014 This program is open to all first- and second-year radiology residents within the United States. The scholarship will provide recipients with complimentary meeting registration, funding for travel (up to $500) and a $500 travel stipend that will be awarded after submission of a post meeting essay. Scholarship recipients should plan to attend the 2015 meeting for the IR-in-training educational track which takes place from Sunday, March 1 through Tuesday, March 3, 2015. They will attend the dedicated IR-in-training track, SIR 2015 plenaries and workshops and participate in networking events. Scheduled events will include the RIT Scholarship dinner symposium, where some of IR's most influential leaders will highlight emerging therapies and issues in the specialty. Scholars are welcome to attend sessions outside of the IR-in-training track. Application Requirements Applicants will currently be in their first or second year of residency. Prior SIR RIT Scholarship recipients will not be considered. Application Process Applications will be accepted online between July 1–Oct. 1, 2014.
