Post-Surgical Disfigurement Influences Disgust Recognition: A Case-Control Study

Little is known about how emotion recognition may be modified in individuals prone to elicit disgust. We hypothesized that subjects with total laryngectomy would present a modified recognition of facial expressions of disgust.
