I am currently doing the IB with a prediction of 42/45 taking into account CAS at the end of the course. I want to apply to medicine but I am worried that my UKCAT average of 600 would mess it up. I volunteer at nursing homes, hospitals, GP practitioners, local events, special needs schools and more. I was wondering if there are any medical schools that don't emphasise UKCAT and focus on predicted grades, GCSE's (12 A's, 1*, 2 B's and 1 A in AS level) and volunteering. It would be really helpful for any insight into this as it's a thing that gives me a lot of distress.
