Harrington Hospital reduces layoff number, plans to keep some maternity services

Harrington Hospital has decided to keep some OB-GYN services, a month before shutting down its maternity ward at the hospital. The Southbridge, Massachusetts hospital said it still plans to close its obstetrics unit at the hospital. Though the hospital won’t deliver babies anymore, the hospital will keep seeing pregnant patients through its physician practice.
