Varicella Zoster Virus–Associated Necrotizing Retinitis After Chickenpox in a 10-Year-Old Female: A Case Report

We report a 10-year-old girl who developed chickenpox 1 month before presenting with panuveitis and necrotizing retinitis. After prompt antiviral treatment, her inflammatory signs were resolved. Early detection and treatment of varicella zoster–associated necrotizing retinitis after chickenpox can achieve good visual outcome.
