Resuscitation Ventilation with CCSV – Experience the Innovation at ERC Congress in Freiburg

(Hamburg) – Medical device manufacturer WEINMANN Emergency has developed a ventilation mode specially designed for resuscitation, Chest Compression Synchronized Ventilation (CCSV). CCSV applies a pressure-controlled mechanical breath synchronously with each chest compression, avoiding the disadvantages of conventional ventilation forms during resuscitation, while simultaneously improving gas exchange and hemodynamics. For the first time, mechanical breaths with a regulated peak pressure are delivered synchronously with chest compressions – a revolution that could replace volume-controlled ventilation as the gold standard for resuscitation!
