Opioid Action Plan

Arizona Department of Health Services. 09/2017 This 106-page document is an action plan that will serve as a catalyst to reducing deaths from opioids in Arizona. Goals to address the opioid epidemic include increasing patient and public awareness and prevent opioid use disorder; improving prescribing and dispensing practices; reducing illicit acquisition and diversion of opioids; improving access to treatment; and reducing opioid deaths.
