The Prebiotic Fiber Test

If you have excessive gas, bloating, abdominal discomfort, or diarrhea within the first hour of initiating prebiotic fibers to cultivate healthy bowel flora, it is highly suggestive of a condition called small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, or SIBO. Confirming, then correcting, SIBO will then be a crucial issue in your full health recovery. Failure to correct SIBO can result in greater risk for type 2 diabetes, increased triglycerides, higher blood pressure, emotional disturbances, autoimmune conditions, and increased risk for diverticular disease and colon cancer. About Undoctored: We are entering a new age in which the individual has astounding power over health–but don’t count on the doctor or healthcare system to tell you this. We draw from the health information of the world, collaborate, share experiences, collect data, and show how to apply new health tools to achieve levels of health that you may have thought unattainable. We do all this at a time when conventional healthcare costs have become crippling. The result: personal health that is SUPERIOR to that obtained through conventional means. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the performance of a new plasma based CRC screening assay, SpecColon test, which tested methylated SFRP2 and SDC2 simultaneously in a single qPCR reaction, in detecting CRC and advan...

BedfordAbstractXylo- and arabinoxylo-oligosaccharides (XOS and AXOS) are of interest for their prebiotic activity. The production of these oligomers might be accompanied with monosaccharides. The measurement of both oligosaccharides and monosaccharides usually requires two methods. The current work presents an HPAEC-PAD method based on gradient elution of aqueous solvents sodium hydroxide and sodium acetate, in contrast to conventional isocratic elution, for the simultaneous separation of 16...

Conclusion: Advanced RCC has high morbidity and mortality with an increasing prevalence. Following tyrosine kinase inhibitors, checkpoint inhibitors have a great influence on treatment of advanced RCC, especially the combination of these two strategies. In 2019 these combined strategies demonstrated 5% complete remission with up to 60% objective response rate. While not immediately, but perhaps in the near future, advanced RCC will become a manageable chronic disease, even if a cure is not possible. PMID: 31942809 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Polyamidoamine/gold nanoparticles (PAMAM/AuNPs) were used to increase the conductivity and enhance the number of antibodies (Ab) immobilized on the electrode surface. Three-dimensional reduced graphene oxide-multiwall carbon nanotubes (3DrGO-MWCNTs) were used to modify the glass...

CONCLUSION: According to the high percentage of patients diagnosed with vision-threatening DR in this study, an early diagnosis of this complication of diabetes seems to be important. Teleophthalmology enhances patient accessibility to the healthcare system, making early diagnosis of DR easier, with a high degree of satisfaction among patients and healthcare professionals. This study evaluated the effect of integrated bacterial culture and biochar on heavy metal (HM) stabilization and microbial activity during pig manure composting. High-throughput sequencing was carried out on six treatments, namely T1-T6, where T2 was single application of bacteria culture (C), T3 and T5 were supplemented with 12% wood (WB) and wheat-straw biochar (WSB), respectively, and T4 and T6 had a combination of bacterial consortium mixed with biochar (12% WB and 12% WSB, respectively). T1 was used as control for the comparison. The results show that the populations of bacterial phyla were significantly greater in T...
