Isolated Arthritis of the Temporomandibular Joint as the Initial Manifestation of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.
CONCLUSION: JIA TMJ arthritis can occur in isolation, and is probably underdiagnosed. Care providers including dentists and orthodontists should be aware of this presentation.
