Regimen Intensification may Improve Outcomes in Patients With Higher Risk Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Related Aggressive B-Cell Lymphomas

Despite effective HIV antiretroviral therapy, there remains an increased incidence of HIV related B-cell Non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL). The introduction of antiviral therapy and effective chemotherapy has led to improved overall outcomes. Regimen intensification (RI) in HIV associated B-cell NHLs has shown prolonged survival in the rituximab era.
