Drug Use and Mortality in Parkinson Disease

In this study investigating the potential harm of antipsychotic in a population of very old nursing home residents suffering from PD, we did not find any significant as sociation between antipsychotic use and mortality among these patients. In contrast, age and chronic pulmonary disease were the main factors associated with mortality, as well as arterial hypertension in very old patients with PD (≥85 years of age).
