Percutaneous Endovascular Retrieval of a Migrated Permanent VenaTech LP Inferior Vena Cava Filter from the Right Ventricle

Here we report a successful percutaneous endovascular retrieval of a VenaTech LP inferior vena cava (IVC) filter (B. Braun, Evanston, Illinois) that had migrated to the right ventricle in a morbidly obese patient who presented with chest pain. Case reports such as this are exempt from institutional review board approval.
