Elective care: model access policy.

This document provides guidance and support for the production of elective access policies. The policy aims to ensure all patients requiring access to outpatient appointments, diagnostics and elective inpatient or day-case treatment are managed in line with national waiting time standards and the NHS Constitution. The policy should not be copied and pasted verbatim as there are elements in it which require reviewing and amending to reflect local arrangements
