Along with interim title, Cerner's Illig will get interim raise

With his promotion from vice chairman to chairman and interim CEO of one of Kansas City's largest companies, Cliff Illig will get a raise. Illig co-founded Cerner Corp. (Nasdaq: CERN) in 1979 with Paul Gorup and the company's late CEO, Neal Patterson. Patterson died July 9 from complications after the recurrence of a soft-tissue cancer.
