The novel microtubule targeting agent BAL101553 in combination with radiotherapy in treatment-refractory tumor models.

CONCLUSIONS: BAL101553 is a promising alternative in taxane- and epothilone-refractory tumors as part of a combined treatment modality with ionizing radiation.
