Fatal Wohlfahrtiimonas chitiniclastica Bacteremia in an Immunocompromised Patient

We report the first fatal case of Wohlfahrtiimonas chitiniclastica bacteremia in Malaysia, confirmed by 16S rRNA sequencing. The isolate was originally misidentified when two different, commercially available identification systems were used.
