Palm Harbor oncologist gets prison time for billing for unapproved cancer drugs

A Palm Harbor-based oncologist was sentenced Friday to 70 months in federal prison and ordered to pay restitution for smuggling misbranded and non-government approved drugs into the United States and then filing claims seeking reimbursement from Medicare.
