Public Inspection: CMS: Medicare Program: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Prospective Payment System for Federal Fiscal Year 2018

Pre-publication final rule from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that updates the prospective payment rates for inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRFs) in fiscal year 2018, removes the 25 percent payment penalty for IRF Patient Assessment Instrument (PAI) late transmissions, refines the 60 percent rule presumptive methodology, finalizes technical IRF process revisions, and makes changes to the IRF Quality Reporting Program (QRP).
