Effect of pre existing respiratory conditions on survival of lung cancer patients: A nationwide population ‐based cohort study
ConclusionHazards of death from lung cancer are significantly increased in cases with pre‐existing lung disease, and worse with longer durations, and with multiple combinations before cancer diagnosis. Patients and physicians should be aware of these meaningful risk/prognostic factors for lung cancer when identifying high‐risk patient groups.
